welcome we are so excited to have you we're going to go ahead and get started super excited thank you for your patience as we go into the attack we had welcomes families for our ninth grade in person family orientation and we're excited to have one here recorded as well my name is Stephanie Lee I'm the proud principal here at Collin and I'm going to have Miss Rosie she's going to go ahead and school or Public Schools traditional public schools that were overcrowded and academically underperforming hence why Charter School came about because private schools are very expensive and so Charter Schools mission was to make sure that we can provide quality education like private school is getting in a smaller setting that was in the non-traditional Publix almost what is a pickle so these are the alliance Network priorities teaching and learning at the Forefront of its collar wellness and belonging I know it's been very difficult as students were coming back from the pandemic I'm really wanting to make sure that we focus on that as well and not just the learning adult wellness and belonging parents I know how difficult it was to be apparent during the pandemic I'm conditions for results because Charter School came to be about because we were out performing in our goal is to outperform our local schools WinCo store so why smaller schools aren't of the luxury of having a 25 to 30 students in a class with the exception of PE that's a little larger cuz they're outside what the fun when it's a larger group of 185 school days the time in terms of schools from 8:30 to 3:30 the law changed recently in the last couple of years in terms of when high schoolers are required to start ways to start at 7:30 when I'll start at 30 and they're about 2 hour.
