Alliance Collins Family College-Ready High School supports all learners, and embraces scholars with disabilities. We believe in an inclusive environment where all learners have access to rigorous, grade-level content in a safe environment. We aim to ensure that scholars at Collins feel seen, heard, and supported.
In order to uphold our belief that all students mean all, Collins's special education program is comprehensive and commits resources to support our scholars' diverse needs. The Special Education Team is composed of a Special Education Coordinator, School Psychologist, four Resource Specialist Teachers (with each specializing in a specific grade-level), and three Instructional Aides. Other related services such as Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language, Audiology, and Adapted PE are provided in partnership with outside agencies.
