I put in there and he's almost going out when he's like you don't care Stampy in Institution okay and the big one we know that this is quite possibly one of the largest topics that you must be wondering his family's is the big news around the scholar vaccine mandate so we have a update it's probably going to pay to read the Spanish version on the right while I'm going through it on on the left of course we'll have the amazing much more to kill it Spanish-speaking audreanna chime but what I want to draw your attention to his were very well aware of the latest update from the state however we do a lot of our moves based on what llusd decides when it comes to large decisions as large as this one I'm so right now the current plan is to stay the course with the vaccination mandate so that is how we are operating as a school putting forth or effort under the the current guidance that we have which is requiring that all skull dollars are fully and vaccinated sorry back to needed against covid-19 by the first day of school the alternative to coming sorry to not being fully vaccine is it on time I'm Alliance will offer a virtual learning option but I need to really be very clear with that means the virtual learning option is a self-driven independent study program it is not zoom classes with our teachers that's not at all what it is the uniqueness has the student remains enrolled that's one good thing so they're technically a student at our school the unfortunate part is they have close to little today any connection with an actual peer or student are sorry or staff member on there's brief check in but the majority of the day and we're talkin 6 to 8 hour days of online classes in depend is really self-driven I think what worries us about it is is Educators is we've been down that road before and we actually did it better we did it with zoom classes with her teachers and even by doing it better we watched it a get number of our Scholars struggle and we're still we're still picking up the pace on that weird we have a lot of work to do as a result of those challenges so it really worries us to be upfront and honest with you about anyone who would have to you have an online option especially knowing that we couldn't do it as personable resume classes as we did previously the other side to that is we know School Events sports and all the activities are are perhaps the most missed aspect of the high school experience during the pandemic everybody kept asking when is 4th returning winter can we go to senior prom can we can we do all these fun events we used to on the good news is we're coming back starting with it Sienna just a little little soccer please you got a great singing voice but a little softer thanks for the good news is we're coming back we've we've got a couple of vents at play we've been doing field trips we got sweet and a whole season of sports we even made it to the playoffs was really exciting we've got some senior activities on the horizon in the best of all graduation all those be in person now I got to tell you if you're fully on vax needed in the fall and this mandate still sticks we cannot allow your child to participate in any of those events everything is at online and that includes all events that are in person Sports you name it so just want to be upfront and honest with you I know it's a big decision we know there's a lot of mixed feelings around the vaccine but this is the most up-to-date information and if it changes will let you know but our best advice to you right now is to take care of business if you haven't already over 80% of our students are fully vaccinated right now that's a number to remember a vast majority have made that decision to do it a hundred percent of our staff members are fully vaccinated we know there's a lot of skepticism around that but please try to just try to understand that if a hundred percent of Educators very very you know we we spent a lot of time reading doing research is a nice way to put it if we all decided to do it it's because we understand the safety its purpose and we're okay I'm going to turn the mic over to Audrey on it on that one thank you mr. years but there is tutoring occurring we have also found creative ways to provide a tutoring like support during the regular school hours for their schedule to try and help with those who struggle to do it after school in counseling our counseling program is really big I have three counselors in one career specialist as well so basically a large team of for helping out with Scholarships in the missed at it really becomes overwhelming for them they really want to prevent that so if there's a special situation you could call and ask for me and you to have a meeting them and see how we can and pop when they go into their second part of life which is called and so they have an idea of how to navigate complex when they start working so the boys to increase your emotional intelligence cuz
