hello parents my name is mr. Vesta and I teach 9th grade English and 11th grade AP English Language and teaching here at Collins for 5 years I really enjoy my job I really enjoy teaching and I've enjoyed getting to know your scholar or these past five weeks some of my expectations for all my classes and number 122 be respectful to show respect towards their peers teachers secondly to be responsible with their learning and finally to honor the routine that we sat in the class and you want to make sure to just make the best use of our time together and and maximize the amount of learning time as far as goals here are some of the goals for 9th grade number one foundations of text to Lana number to foundations of critical thinking and argumentation and number three learning how to make their own arguments and both written and verbal expression here are the goals for AP English Language number one practice more depth than Brett with texts are going deeper and really analyzing rather than reading as many tests as possible we want to go deeper rather than more breath to to encourage complex argumentation number 3 promote self-assessment and finally number for pass the AP test that we taken me what is my expectations and my goals for my classes my contact information if you need to get ahold of me please do not hesitate to reach out and again I look forward to working with you and working with your scholar this year
